Economic Development Representatives from Across the State Meet in Terre Haute

Part of the programming will be held at Indiana State University’s Hulman Center-Lower Conference Room. Programming would include presentations from Boral Bricks, CertainTeed, and the Rural Health Innovation Collaborative (RHIC).

The Indiana Economic Development Association (IEDA) was formed in 1968 by 16 professional industrial developers to provide continuity to a statewide economic development effort. IEDA was incorporated in 1982 and has 405 members representing local economic development organizations, agencies, corporations, congressional staff, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, and utilities.

You are invited for photo opportunities and pre-event interviews with Mike Heaton, President of the Indiana Economic Development Association and Steve Witt, President of the Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm, Thursday, June 11th. The question and answer opportunity will be held at the Hulman Center-Lower Conference Room.

Incentives

The Terre Haute Economic Development Corporation works closely with local and state officials to develop customized packages that meet the needs of business and the interests of the community.  The scope of project incentives is based on number and type of new jobs created or retained in Indiana, and new capital investments made in the community.
